Description
First-time members of the Local 1000 (who have never been a member of any AFM local) pay an initiation fee of $100 USD. This fee is waived for band members joining at the same time.
If a member was expelled, for non-payment of two consecutive quarters of member dues in a calendar year, they must pay a $25 fee to be reinstated, in addition to all back member dues owed, and all work dues owed, plus at least the current quarter’s dues.
If you are already a member of another AFM local, the initiation fee to join Local 1000 is only $35 (as long as you will remain a member of both).
